Health Benefits of Garlic

Heroic is extracted from a plant in the lily family. It was traditionally used for health purposes by Egyptians,  Greeks, Romans, Chinese and Japanese. Garlic is most commonly promoted as a dietary supplement for conditions related to the heart and blood vessels. This include high blood cholesterol and high blood pressure. There's not enough evidence to show whether garlic helpful for the common gold. 

But studies suggest that taking garlic supplements may reduce total cholesterol and low-density lipoprotein (LDL). But it may take more than 8 weeks before nothing any improvement. Garlic supplements may be helpful for high blood pressure. Other studies show that garlic may improve the elasticity of the aorta. It may also keep atherosclerotic plaque from forming. 

Studies also suggest a link between higher intakes of vegetables and lower risk of certain cancer. Garlic may be used applied to the skin to treat acne. Garlic has antibacterial, antifungal, antiviral and antiseptic properties from allicin. Allicin is an unstable compound that is only briefly present in fresh garlic after it's been cut or crushed. 

It could also help to reduce swelling and inflammation and may optimize blood circulation. As a result, it allows the skin to receive more nutrients. Garlic also has can act as an antimicrobial. Some animals studies suggest that garlic may improve insulin release but there is no evidence to support this effect in humans. 

Side effects include breath and body or or, heartburn and upset stomach. These side effects can be more noticeable with raw garlic. Some people have allergic relations to garlic.
